Hello!  Welcome to the CommissionerCarpenter.com website – your source for information on what is happening in precinct 3. I am Mark C. Carpenter, Johnson County Precinct 3 Commissioner. This site will provide you with information about a variety of subjects affecting residents in precinct 3 including some of the many projects and initiatives that have been accomplished since I became commissioner. As a life-long Johnson County resident, I am proud of my community and will continue to build on the improvements we’ve made to make Johnson County a better place to live, to work and to raise our children.

We will continually be faced with challenges as our county benefits from the economic boom brought by the Barnett Shale drilling. These challenges require an experienced leader with proven management skills - A leader with the experience and dedication to both developing solutions that meet the needs of our citizens and remaining fiscally responsible. I will continue to bring a strong, common-sense approach to managing the needs our growing county.
